Using Google Authenticator for Multi Factor Authentication

If you lose the device that you use for MFA, please contact your Administrator. 

1. Download Google or Microsoft Authenticator to your mobile device. 

2. Navigate to your My1Login vault

Enter your Email/Username & Passphrase and select “Log in”

 

3. An authenticator prompt will appear on screen

  1. Open the authenticator application on your mobile device.

 

  1. Click the “+” at the top right and select “scan barcode” to begin the process of authentication
  2. Scan the on-screen image as shown above and a six-digit code will appear. This is the authentication code you need to enter to gain access to the My1Login service. Once this code is entered you will be taken to your Vault page where your credentials are stored and displayed. 

 

4. Use Authenticator for MFA

You will be asked to enter a 6-digit code from the Authenticator application every time you log into My1Login as per the settings specified by your administrator.
